BriteSmile™ Teeth Whitening
Improve Your Greatest Asset—Your
Smile! Simple
Whiter teeth, in about 1 hour. Years of yellowing as well as
staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and cola are almost
magically erased in the time it takes to get a haircut, a
manicure, or lunch. In fact, clinical studies prove that the
BriteSmile whitening treatment results in an average
improvement of eight shades whiter!
The BriteSmile
Whitening Gel is a proprietary pH-balanced wavelength-specific
gentle bleaching gel that creates a revolutionary whitening
process. A gentle 15% hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to the
teeth. This gel is wavelength matched to BriteSmile's
proprietary blue light source. The blue light activates the
whitening gel to make it work better and faster than ever
before. Questions & Answers:
What Actually Happens?
- Your gums and mouth are protected with isolation
materials and a "before" picture is taken.
- The BriteSmile whitening gel is professionally applied
and activated by the light source while you relax.
- After three 20-minute applications over a 1-hour period,
your whitening is completed and your "after" picture is
taken.
- You rinse. You smile. Wow!
How White Will My Teeth Get?
Clinical studies show that our whitening process results in
an average of eight shades lighter and even higher for
individuals with darker teeth. Your results, of course, will
vary as your starting point may be different and everyone's
teeth respond a little differently. During the consultation,
the dentist will go over what you personally can expect for
your individual situation. What if I Have Sensitive Teeth?
The BriteSmile teeth whitening process is typically
completely painless. Less than 10% of our clients may
experience a dull ache following the procedure. Taking an
analgesic almost always resolves the feeling. If there is
any tooth sensitivity, it is best to avoid very hot or very
cold drinks for the first 24 hours.
Does It Work with Caps, Veneers, or Bonds?
The BriteSmile professional teeth whitening treatment has
been successful at removing stains from caps, veneers, or
bonded teeth. However, a whitening procedure in general
cannot change the color of the caps, veneers, or bonds. We
recommend that you discuss your situation with a BriteSmile
dentist to determine what you can expect. How Long Does It Last?
The long-term results depend primarily on the individual.
Certain habits, such as the use of tobacco products,
drinking a lot of coffee, tea, and dark soft drinks,
infrequent visits to the dentist for regular cleaning, etc.,
can work against the results. Some people may prefer to do
the BriteSmile whitening treatment more frequently. How Do I Keep My Teeth White?
Regular professional care and use of the BriteSmile
Professional Whitening System products should help maintain
your BriteSmile for years.
